This is Rajendran, doing ministry in Thimiri village, Vellore district. He comes from a very pious Hindu family background. He was brought up in all Hindu traditions. Every year he used to go to pilgrimage to different temples walking several miles to worship the idols. He used to fast for 40 days and would pierce his body through sharp arrows for gods. Often he used to shave his head as offering to the idols. He has also donated his own land to build a temple. Though he studied in a Christian school he despised the gospel and also mocked the Christian workers.
While he was studying in the school he went to an institute to learn typing. There one boy have stolen a valuable thing. He was caught by the police. When the police enquired him, cunningly this guy had included Rajendran name also. Though he denied and tried to prove his innocence, the cops arrested and put him behind the bar. This bought humiliation to his family. So his parents tried their best for his release. They worshiped many idols, they paid offerings but all in vain.
At that time, one of the Christian workers whom Rajendran had mocked, heard about his predicament, visited his family and prayed for him with concern. Miraculously on that day itself, the guy who charged him falsely admitted his fault and therefore Rajendran was released from the prison. From that onwards the whole family believed in Jesus and accepted Him as the Lord and savior. Peace filled their family.
Rajendran immediately started sharing his testimony with his friends and relatives. That’s the time God gave him a burden to reach the people of Thimiri. He started sharing his testimony. During this time a neighboring Church planter has shared about KGT training program. Then he joined the training program. Through this training he understood the purpose of his life. After two modules of KGT training he was able to form small groups that led him to plant a new church in Thimiri village. His vision is to share the gospel with all the people of this village. Now thirty people are attending the Church service. Praise God for this brother.
